• Position Title: Adjunct Occupational Therapy Assistant Instructor and Program Consultant
• Requisition Number: A00156P
• Job Summary/Basic Function: As-needed adjunct instructor and program consultant of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Potential opportunity to teach one or two Occupational Therapy Assistant courses per semester. The individual will also serve as a consultant, as needed for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Bachelor’s of Science program, providing an Occupational Therapy assistant perspective in the development and implementation of the Occupational Therapy Assistant Bachelor’s of Science program.
  
  Willingness and ability to advise OTA-B Students as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree or the equivalent is required.
• Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• License in good standing as an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Utah (or eligible for by start date).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree in a healthcare-related field.
• 5+ Years of Clinical Experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Advanced training and/or experience in Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, Physical Agent Modalities
• Clinical and/or teaching experience in Adult Physical Dysfunction, Mental Health and/or Psychosocial Occupational Therapy.
