* ** Sell Deseret Book products and services in a retail store environment
* Deliver excellent customer service
* Oversee retail store operations such as cashiering, gift wrapping, merchandise presentation, shipping/receiving, store recovery, etc
* Supervise, train, and motivate store associates
* Give assignments and follow up to ensure timely completion
* Perform store opening and closing assignments
** Required Skills
*** Knowledge of Deseret Book products, policies, and procedures preferred
* Ability to coach and lead store associates
* Ability to see problems and work proactively to correct them
* Self-motivated with good team skills
* Computer and cashiering skills helpful
* Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings and Saturdays.
* Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates
* Ability to locate and identify product for customers
* Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 20 lbs
