The Channel Manager will have established relationships and a proven track record with channel accounts in the Pro AV industry within the designated U.S. markets. This role requires a strong understanding of the channel ecosystem by collaborating closely with end users, consultants, and integrators to drive business growth.
Job DescriptionThe Channel Manager will have established relationships and a proven track record with channel accounts in the Pro AV industry within the designated U.S. markets. This role requires a strong understanding of the channel ecosystem by collaborating closely with end users, consultants, and integrators to drive business growth.
Essential Functions- Establish targeted customer development strategies in the designated territory and set up an overall strategy for long-term partnership.
- Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners to get Absen in the vendor system and get Absen products specified into projects as preferred vendors.
- Keep informed of products, services, and other general information of interest to listed accounts.
- Have experience with Direct view LED and have some hands-on experience to provide support in demo shootouts.
- Coordinate with the US team to provide support to channel partners, consultants, and dealers during the implementation of the projects.
- Provide Lunch and Learn, sales training, local show, or demo support on site from local if needed.
- Host key accounts to visit HQ and factory in China.
- Communicate with other Absen business units or departments to exchange info or market insights.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Excellent client orientation around problem-solving and delivering solutions.
- Ability to work in and maintain performance expectations in high-pressure environments.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree or above with a major in Engineering, Business Administration, or Business Management.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales, engineering or project management background in the LED display industry is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs consecutively.
- Absen facilities as needed.
- May be required to travel throughout the year for business meetings, trade shows, training, demos, and other business-related events.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license.
Our total compensation range with sales commission/bonus opportunity for this position is $135k to 180K, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
