Job Overview

An Account Executive II (AE II) is responsible for managing and structuring transactions, driving sales performance, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will leverage your expertise in deal structuring, financial analysis, and negotiation to meet and exceed quota targets. This role requires autonomy in transaction management, effective use of sales technologies, and a strong commitment to company culture and leadership principles.

Success in this position involves proactive customer engagement, strategic decision-making, and contributing to overall business growth through data‑driven insights and process improvements.

Essential Functions

Key Responsibilities Business Development
  • Identify and target potential national accounts that would benefit from equipment leasing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.
  • Understand industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position the company's services.
Relationship Management
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with key decision-makers within national accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular check‑ins and account reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Executives to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Proactive approach to understanding client needs and delivering tailored financial solutions that facilitate their strategic objectives.
  • Understand and articulate the benefits of equipment leasing, including tax advantages, balance sheet management, and flexibility in equipment updates.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of leasing agreements, ensuring they meet both client needs and company objectives.
  • Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are accurate and compliant with regulations.
Work Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales, or related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in the finance or equipment leasing industry.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to understand complex financial products and convey their value to clients.
