Field Service Technician

Westside Equipment Co, LLC. continues to grow and we are seeking a field service technician to join our successful team.

Westside Equipment is now hiring a full-time Construction Equipment Technician.

Responsibilities include:

• Be flexible and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
• Support the efforts of other employees to ensure success.
• Maintenance and fueling of aerial and dirt equipment in a timely manner.
• Perform quality repairs at all times and notify management of any substandard process, parts or procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA/ANSI requirements.
• Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
• Work performed in a shop environment such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
• Must be able to drive our equipment and vehicles safely.
• Maintain a clean workspace and/or truck.
• Must be able to repair and maintain equipment on construction sites.
• Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.

Job Qualifications:

• Must have your own tools.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license. Provide an MVR when applying.
• CDL is not required but preferred.
• Have or be able to obtain a DOT Med card.
• Two plus years of progressive experience as an equipment technician.
• Hands-on, team-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to offer solutions to problems.
• Critical thinking - using logic and common sense to resolve problems.
• Flexibility to take on new responsibilities and challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Drug and alcohol-free work environment.
