• Operate dump trucks, end dumps and or belly dumps (with or without pup trailers) and tarping systems safely and efficiently.
• Deliver all types of aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
• Keep accurate time and material records.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate effectively on the two‑way radio system.
• Connect and disconnect pup trailers.
• Maintain knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Any requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

High school diploma or GED required; plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A with appropriate endorsements.
• Valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.

• Incident‑free driving record preferred.

• Ability to communicate using two‑way radio.
• Basic math and basic computer skills preferred.
• Customer service, teamwork, judgment, planning/organizing, and professionalism.
• Safety and security procedures, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation, and quality improvement.
• Common sense application to detailed instructions.

The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms above shoulders, and lift or move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. The work environment may involve wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather, extreme temperatures, and moderate noise.
