- Functions in a point-of-care, hands‑on role as a nurse expert, educator, and consultant for assigned departments.
- Provides educational support for organizational safety and improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates and maintains depth and breadth of knowledge, skills, and competence in nursing specialty.
- Serves as a consultant for education requests within NAH.
- Researches, recommends, and facilitates nursing specialty education for nurse residents, nurse interns, and/or any other program for new to specialty nurses.
- Graduate degree or completion date within 3 years if hired after August 1st 2024 (If graduate degree is not in nursing, it must be in a related field and a BSN is required).
- BSN within 3 years if hired prior to August 1st 2024 to be completed by July 1st 2027.
- Current RN License.
- National nurse professional board certification or attainment within 1 year of hire.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in clinical nursing practice required.
