Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide patient care in a fast-paced, short-term acute care setting. The role involves floating across multiple units including MS/Tele and ICU, with an emphasis on flexibility and well-rounded clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients in ICU and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units to ensure optimal care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner or similar charting systems.
• Float to other units based on census and unit needs, demonstrating adaptability.
• Comply with safety standards and patient safety protocols, including medication administration.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid multi-state compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience in ICU, MS, or Telemetry.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Comfortable floating within different units, with prior ICU/PCU experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work nights 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
