Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting & Finance

Trivium Life Services is seeking a mission-driven Accountant to support our Finance team and help advance our work with individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and chronic mental illness.

• Reconcile accounts and complete accurate data entry.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Prepare and verify financial reports and spreadsheets.
• Process monthly bank reconciliations and weekly payroll entries.
• Assist with monthly and annual closings, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Support the Director of Accounting and CFO with audits and financial reporting.
• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, HIPAA, and internal policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational data.

• Associate’s degree required, bachelor is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger functions
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Non-profit or mission-based experience is a plus.
