• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience with change governance including workflows, processes, documentation, and mapping.
• Experience using data analytics to quantify program performance.

• 5 years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.
• Experience with change governance in data centers, manufacturing, oil and gas, aerospace, or power utilities.
• Experience with change governance software tools for intake, review, approval, documentation, communication, and metrics.
• Experience expanding localized workflows into global standardized processes that can handle significant increases in volume.
• Ability to maintain project momentum and make sound decisions despite shifting priorities, incomplete requirements, or evolving business directions.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As the Change Governance Program Manager, you will own, drive, and improve upon the global program by which Google’s Data Center fleet submits, evaluates, reviews, and makes decisions. You will engage in the process daily to ensure it runs smoothly, support high priority decisions, illuminate gaps, and drive process improvements.

Leveraging your skills, you will help facilitate complex global decisions by breaking them down into smaller pieces. You will partner and engage with key stakeholders early and often to ensure solid participation. Working closely with partner teams, you will integrate our change governance process with their change control processes. Additionally, you will work to ensure the program evolves with time, adapts to changes in business direction, and scales with future growth.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $147,000–$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
