The Assistant Site Supervisor supports daily operations of a before- and after-school program, helping create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children. This role assists with staff supervision, program coordination, documentation, and compliance, and serves as site lead when the Site Supervisor is absent.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily program operations and child supervision
- Assist with staff guidance and scheduling
- Maintain attendance and incident documentation
- Ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff
- Help manage supplies and site organization
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR (infant/child/adult), First Aid, and Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and actively engage with children
Degree in education/child development or related field; experience in licensed child care programs.
