Your primary duties will involve setting up traffic control devices, communicating effectively with drivers, and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, signs, and cones to guide traffic through construction zones
• Communicate clearly with drivers using hand signals and verbal commands to ensure safe passage
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust control measures as needed to minimize congestion and enhance safety
• Work closely with construction crews to coordinate the timing of road operations and disruptions
• Observe and enforce safety regulations to protect both construction personnel and the public
• Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay informed of best practices.
