Adjunct Construction Instructor

Overview

This position is responsible for teaching construction classes as assigned by the academic dean. Methodologies include: face-to-face, hybrid, video conferencing, live virtual, and online. Duties include but are not limited to: teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.

• Teach construction courses as assigned by the academic dean; utilize multiple delivery methodologies (face-to-face, hybrid, video conferencing, live virtual, and online).
• Participate in curriculum development and restructuring; support student success.

• 6000 hours of construction work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in construction and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested construction experience.
• Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record.

• Normal Office;
  Heavy work (lift 30-50 lbs.)
• Other physical requirements:
  The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle
