Industrial Technology Instructor
Job DescriptionPrimary teaching responsibilities include industrial safety, equipment operation, OSHA/PPE practices, and introductory/advanced solar photovoltaic instruction.
Job DutiesTeach classroom and hands-on lab instruction in industrial safety, equipment operation, and solar photovoltaic systems
Maintain a safe and organized learning environment while reinforcing OSHA, PPE, and industry safety practices
Prepare instructional materials, assess student learning, and maintain accurate student records
Support student success through effective communication and engagement with students and industry partners
Qualifications6000 hours of industrial technology work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in industrial technology and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested industrial technology experience.
Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and safe equipment operation
Physical DemandsThe employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
Ability to lift up to 10lbs
Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
