Senior Electrical Engineer
My client is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical system design for a variety of commercial, institutional, healthcare, and retail projects. This position will play a key role in project execution, team leadership, and coordination with clients and internal engineering teams from design through construction.
Responsibilities
- Design building electrical systems including power, lighting, and telecommunications
- Develop electrical drawings, calculations, and construction documents
- Lead projects from initial concept through construction completion
- Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams
- Support and oversee designers and drafting staff on project work
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering solutions
- Prepare project reports, technical documentation, and client deliverables
- Participate in client meetings, proposals, and business development efforts
- Help manage schedules, budgets, and project deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 5 years of experience with building electrical system design
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, and telecom systems
- Strong knowledge of construction documents and engineering standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and support junior team members
