Campus Life Student Workers play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and engaging campus community. They oversee the Game Room and equipment checkout process, assist with planning and executing campus events and activities, provide outstanding customer service, and serve as positive ambassadors for Campus Life.

Campus Life Student Workers play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and engaging campus community. They oversee the Game Room and equipment checkout process, assist with planning and executing campus events and activities, provide outstanding customer service, and serve as positive ambassadors for Campus Life.

Job Duties
  • Oversee the Game Room and assist with equipment checkout and return.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Game Room and Campus Life spaces.
  • Assist with the setup, execution, and teardown of campus events and activities as needed.
  • Welcome and engage students while providing excellent customer service.
  • Promote Campus Life programs and encourage student participation.
  • Capture photos and videos during events as needed.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by Campus Life staff.
Qualifications
  • Must be a currently enrolled IWCC student
Training Requirements
  • Experience or training that demonstrates oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer service
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and programs.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and move event equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs as needed for event setup and teardown.
  • Ability to set up and move tables, chairs, games, and other event materials.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions for campus events.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including equipment checkout.
