Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Plant Finance Lead, you will perform moderately complex financial analysis for assigned areas and present recommendations to management.
- You will identify and investigate issues related to assigned projects and support activities including business partnering, analytics, business planning, monthly forecasting, metrics and scorecards, and period close activities.
- Partner with assigned functions on accounting and finance related questions by assessing needs and identifying risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
- Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan and strategic plan for assigned components of the profit and loss statement and related balance sheet accounts.
- Update monthly forecasts for assigned departments based on business changes and communicate impacts through clear, forward‑looking commentary, including guidance on potential risks.
- Participate in month‑end and quarter‑end close activities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, including identifying and resolving unusual items and issues.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and financial models for requests related to assigned departments, such as product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, and pricing.
- Manage project work that rotates across multiple financial disciplines, including financial planning and analysis, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in‑market investments.
- Lead the development of metrics, scorecards, and reporting for assigned departments.
- Evaluate and deliver periodic metrics, scorecards, and reports.
- Provide financial planning and analysis support as needed.
- Participate in finance‑wide projects based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree required.
- Three or more years of professional accounting or financial experience, with one to two years of cost accounting experience preferred.
- Experience supporting profit and loss management and applying general accounting concepts within financial systems.
- Strong relationship‑building and partnering skills with internal customers and peers.
- Experience working across multiple departments to complete projects or resolve organizational challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP systems or similar financial software tools preferred.
Compensation Pay Range: $63,000-$93,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
