Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) Council Bluffs, IA (40 hours)

  • Build and maintain client relationships through in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels.
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information.
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit, loan, and digital products, recommending solutions that align with their goals.
  • Conduct proactive outreach and follow‑up, asking questions to learn about financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients, engaging and communicating effectively.
  • Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital services.
  • Provide optimal client experience by greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Collaborate with branch team members and partners to serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their financial needs.
  • Leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy.

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Candidates must undergo a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain NMLS requirements may result in rescission of the offer or termination of employment.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3‑4 years of retail banking experience or equivalent training.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Effective client engagement and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to explore and identify client needs using a digital‑first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
