Minimum 2-year recent Labor & Delivery experience (must be comfortable with labor, delivery & postpartum; NICU experience a plus).
CERTIFICATIONS – BLS (AHA), NRP (Required).
LICENSE – Active RN license required at submission.
SCHEDULE – Nights, 12s, 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks (Every 3rd weekend; flexible scheduling preferred).
UNIT – LDRP – Acute Care (Level I Maternal Care).
EMR – EPIC.
RATIOS – 1:3 Mom/Babe couplets, 1:1 Labor (case dependent).
DRIPS – Insulin, Magnesium, Pitocin.
Equipment – Alaris IV Pumps.
ORIENTATION – 12 hours + Pass/Fail open-book exam (90% required).
FLOATING – Closed unit – no floating required.
ADDITIONAL – Clinical prescreen/auto offer, Charge nurse takes assignment, Driver’s license required at submittal (50-mile radius rule applies), No Common Spirit/CHI/Dignity employment, Artificial nails prohibited. PAY IS NEGOTIABLE! Payment details:
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
