The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist in overall day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

This is a full‑time (40 hour) position. Clinic Open:
Monday – Thursday 8 AM – 7 PM, Friday 8 AM – 5 PM, and Saturday 8 AM – 12 PM. Scheduling needs will be discussed during interview. Pay offer is based on education, certification and experience, and the hourly range is $18 – $21.

• Assists in preparing prescriptions accurately and answering patient questions.
• Records medical information using the pharmacy’s management software.
• Measures, counts, and mixes medication for prescriptions.
• Verifies insurance information, and addresses conflicts with patients or insurance billing companies.
• Answers the phone, takes messages and prescription refill information.
• Maintains and assists with inventory levels.
• Receives, labels and stocks prescription drugs and prescription supplies.
• Assists patients in the enrollment and re‑enrollment of pharmaceutical assistance programs.
• Assists with maintaining pharmacy compliance.
• Cleans and maintains the pharmacy area.
• Completes refrigerator temperature report log.

• Valid Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), Iowa Pharmacy Technician Registration or Trainee Registration Certification required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) desired.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required, training will be provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
