School Based Therapist

Overview

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a School Based Therapist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Council Bluffs, IA! This position would be part of the health center's resource team on site at area schools.

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

• Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm;
  No weekends, evenings, or on call; options available for flexible hours based upon school schedules.
• Sees on average 4-6 patients per day
• Provider team includes: 1 additional School Based Therapist, 1 School Based NP. Main clinic also has 3 PMHNPs, 4.5 Therapists, 1 Social Worker, 1 Community Health Worker, 2 Patient Navigators, & 1 RN
• EHR: Ochin Epic

• Student Loan Repayment Programs: Eligible for $50,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for 2 years of service through state & federal programs
• Competitive Salary
  : $73, based upon experience + additional productivity bonus opportunities

• 1-5 years of experience working as a behavioral health therapist in a healthcare or school setting
• Graduation from accredited master’s social work, counseling, marriage/family therapy and/or behavioral health education program.
• Licensed as behavioral health professional to practice in Iowa (LISW; LMSW; or LMHC)
