75% nationwide travel and 25% home-market work.

This role supports a "Hi-Fiber" initiative for Google, focused on replacing legacy coax cabling with fiber. A specialized team of Level 2 data center technicians will be deployed as a "tiger team" to new Google sites for the first 6-8 weeks of each project. Their responsibility is to establish processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure successful project launch.

After initial setup, the team will transition to the next site and repeat the process. During gaps between deployments, technicians will support operations at a Google data center within their home market. This position requires experienced technicians who can contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up. Over time, Level 1 cable technicians will be brought in to complete longer-term execution work.

• Flexibility with travel requirements (typically up to 2 weeks at a time)

This is a Contract position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
