Position Summary

As a Prepared Food Associate, you will work collaboratively with teams to maintain product knowledge, ensure food safety standards, and provide excellent member service. You will be responsible for preparing food per item specifications, operating and maintaining equipment, leveraging digital tools to support business decisions, and driving performance and owner responsibilities within your area.

What you'll do
  • Be a Team Member
    :
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; and be flexible to the needs of the business by working in other areas as needed.
  • Be an Expert
    :
    Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie
    :
    Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner
    :
    Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador
    :
    Be a brand advocate; develop, influence, and inspire others in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented; understand roadblocks and assist in training.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Food safety certification.
  • Food handler certification (food safety).
Additional Information

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premia may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
