Data Center Logistics Associate - Weekend Night shift

The Data Center Logistics Associate role supports seamless data center operations, with an emphasis on inventory management, coordination of shipments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

• Inventory Management:
  Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming inventory (racks & trays, networking equipment, and other hardware). Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for items received and shipped. Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Shipping and Receiving:
  Coordinate with suppliers and carriers for inbound/outbound shipments. Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outbound shipments. Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness. Transport inventory using material handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Facility Maintenance:
  Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and docks. Assist with disposal of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed.

  Adhere to safety protocols and security measures for data centers.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data center operations, procurement, technical support) to fulfill inventory and logistics needs. Support special projects or initiatives as directed. Complete other duties as assigned with emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Installation Support:
  Assist in setup and installation of computer server racks, follow diagrams, use basic tools safely, and support senior technicians with cable management and organization within server racks.

• Minimum requirements:
  
  At least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related field.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word). Ability to perform basic math and read/interpret safety and operating documents.
• Familiarity with proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

• Additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; ability to work safely in a team setting.
• Positive, respectful, and professional attitude. Availability for a flexible schedule, including possible overtime.

• Ability to lift and move heavy material and perform tasks related to handling server trays and racks. Use power equipment to move very heavy server racks as needed. Carry objects 3–5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs. Stand for extended periods (>4 hours). Walk >4–5 miles per day. Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects. Tolerate hot and cold work environments.
