Role Description

Apex Aero Center is excited to announce that we have been selected as the new Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at Council Bluffs Municipal Airport - CBF. Apex Aero Center has a network of locations throughout the Midwest and is quickly growing. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the line service department, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
• Drive business growth through strategic planning and customer relationship management.
• Manage hangar operations, including tenant relations and maintenance.
• Coordinate various tasks on the airfield, ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in FBO management or a similar role within the aviation industry.
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience at an FBO in line service or customer service positions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation operations, safety regulations, and customer service standards.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
