L&D RN – Shift: 12H Nights (7p–7a)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Care Setting: Labor & Delivery / Maternal Care
Charting System: EPIC

• Level 1 Maternal Care unit – handles low-risk births, occasional magnesium sulfate and gestational diabetes patients.
• Closed unit – floating is not required.
• Charge nurse present each shift and takes assignments as needed.
• Blocked scheduling approved; preference for flexible candidates.

• Laboring patients: 1:1
• Mom/baby couplets: 1:3

• Competent in labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• NICU experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to safely administer drips: insulin, magnesium sulfate, Pitocin.
• IV pump experience with Alaris pumps.

• Active RN license (any state, outside 50-mile radius of facility)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
