RN - Progressive Care Work Schedule

Night

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
Every 3rd Weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
Holiday Rotation

Salary Range

$38.00 - $51.70 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses for our Progressive Care Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with diverse medical needs, ensuring that their individual treatment plans are followed accurately. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional patient care and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to patients and their families, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, updating care plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.
Education & Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • NIH Stroke Scale training required at hire or within 6 months.
  • No prior experience necessary, though relevant experience is advantageous.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) License, valid compact multi state license, or temporary permit required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred at hire, required within 3 months.
  • Maintain ACLS certification within one year of employment.
  • Core certification related to specialty from National Certification Corporation preferred within one year of eligibility.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer skills necessary for hospital information systems.
