Job Summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a 13‑week travel assignment in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This role focuses on providing advanced cardiovascular and telemetry care to post‑ICU patients.

- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, with a focus on cardiac care
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures
- Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes
- Respond to life‑saving situations per nursing standards and protocols
- Initiate patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Perform other duties within scope of practice and departmental policies
- Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current valid RN license in Iowa
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification
- NIHSS certification
- Additional certifications/licences as required by the position
