The Floor Supervisor assists with managing overall store operations and assumes primary responsibility for store operations in the absence of the General Manager and/or Assistant Managers. The Floor Supervisor also directs staff to achieve company goals and objectives.

• Customer Service
  • Project a positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
  • Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
  • Greet customers upon entering and throughout the store.
  • Thank customers when they are finished and leaving the store.
  • Maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor toward customers and associates.
  • Answer calls and pages promptly, courteously, and effectively.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure the best interest of Ace Retail Group is considered.
  • Possess excellent product knowledge and store layout familiarity.
• Store Operations
  • Ensure a positive, professional, and safe work environment for all associates.
  • Supervise the general operations of the entire store.
  • Responsible for opening and closing store procedures.
  • Assist with implementation of Store Support Center programs.
  • Support Loss Prevention, Safety, and Internal Audits.
  • Communicate operational or managerial issues to the General Manager promptly.
  • Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise areas.
  • Ensure weekly price changes and label updates are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with cashiering functions including training, maintenance, audits, and reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Inventory & Merchandising
  • Ensure forklift operations and receiving are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Verify receiving, checking in, and stocking of merchandise for completeness.
  • Maintain back‑stock levels and ensure cycle counts and negative on‑hand reports are completed accurately.
  • Assist with merchandise resets throughout the store.
  • Ensure all signage is current.
  • Present a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and promotional merchandise.
• Leadership
  • Manage all aspects of store operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
  • Lead by example and remain approachable to associates and customers.
  • Assist in the training of all associates.
  • Participate in store meetings and communicate merchandising, cost control, or sales ideas to the General Manager for follow‑up.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Assistant Manager to prepare for advancement.

• Ability to incorporate Core Values into daily decisions and interactions.
• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, assembly directions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, percentage) and graph interpretation.
• Ability to work independently and in a flexible schedule.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork, collaboration, and motivate others.
• Physical requirements:
  
  Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50lb) regularly and lifting (up to 100lb) occasionally with assistance; climbing possible.

$15.00‑$17.00 per hour.
