As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Council Bluffs, IA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

• Fri 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document security‑related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy‑related violations according to site procedures.
• Support day‑to‑day operations by assisting with lobby coverage, visitor direction, and after‑hours checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas as directed by site‑specific protocols.

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
