As a Security Officer Facility Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors and or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to identify unusual activity and or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures for a technology-focused location with sensitive equipment and or restricted areas.
• Observe and report conditions that may impact daily operations, including maintenance issues, unsecured doors, and or policy violations, while following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
