Maintenance Electrician
This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical and mechanical equipment that supports daily production floor operations, with a strong focus on working with motors for garage doors and related systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment that support production floor operations.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficient production.
Service and repair motors for garage doors and related mechanical components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and systems.
Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical circuits, control systems, and associated components.
Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to identify issues and verify proper operation after repairs.
At least 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or similar environment.
At least 2 years of electrical experience, including troubleshooting and repair.
At least 2 years of hydraulic experience, including basic repair and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with industrial electrical repair, including motors and control systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Mechanical aptitude for working with industrial equipment and components.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a hot environment, including temperatures of 100+ degrees.
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repair in an industrial setting.
Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and preventive maintenance programs.
Comfort working with a variety of tools, testing equipment, and repair methods.
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in a hot environment.
Interest in ongoing training and development to expand technical skills.

This role operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position is based in a production floor environment that can reach temperatures of 100 degrees or more, especially in the summer, so comfort working in a hot industrial setting is essential. You will work around industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including motors for garage doors and other production-related systems.
The dress code allows jeans or shorts, with a neon work shirt provided and tennis shoes required, supporting both safety and comfort during daily tasks.
This is a Contract position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.
The pay range for this position is $30.75 - $36.28/hr.
