USA Government Jobs - - Responsibilities:
Perform limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles;
Assist higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems to include internal combustion engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems;
Perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) and ensure equipment is properly serviced;
Perform minor body and fender repairs and basic welding as needed;
Provide field maintenance at unit locations and recover/evacuate inoperable vehicles as required
