Data Center Technician

A leading global data center provider supporting mission-critical customer environments. This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability of critical infrastructure systems in a 24/7/365 data center environment while leading a small shift team of 1–4 technicians.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating 1–4 technicians during an assigned shift, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Supporting the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, cooling, life safety, and critical power systems.
• Monitoring and responding to facility alarms, prioritizing uptime and protection of the critical load.
• Utilizing CMMS to track preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, work orders, inspections, and labor activities.
• Executing and following SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, MMRs, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to complete maintenance and project work safely.
• Serving as a customer-facing point of contact for colocation clients and maintaining accurate operational documentation.
• Supporting equipment switching, operational improvements, root cause investigations, and infrastructure projects.
