Community Events Coordinator

Position: Community Events Coordinator at Vista Radio
Be the face of Vista Radio as our Community Events Coordinator in Comox Valley! We are looking for a reliable and outgoing individual to promote our station at community gatherings.

In this role, you will be responsible for showcasing our radio station and partners at events, developing a calendar of highlights, and documenting experiences for social media. Close collaboration with our Sales and Promotions teams will ensure optimal presence at key events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Vista Radio and partners at community events

• Compile a calendar of relevant local happenings weekly

• Capture engaging photographs and videos at events

• Broadcast live reports to listeners on air

• Oversee inventory of promotional materials and distribution

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Positive and friendly attitude is essential

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a plus

• Enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
