As a Sr. Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible to supervise the execution of facilities planning, repairs, routine maintenance and stores functions within Building Automation. You will operate within the existing facilities control systems and process and provide guidance to direct reports on clearly defined objectives. You will manage the team to meet the customers’ needs in terms of delivery, inventory, cost and quality.
You will build up team capability and lead continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring timely completion and adherence to preventive maintenance plansEngage in the operation of facilities managementManage and maintain facility assetsParticipate in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) planning of site operations (resourcing, contractor schedulingOversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.Identify minor repairs works to drive run rateBudget and financial managementThird party contract managementOH&S risk assessmentSupervision of the planning and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, as well as renovation and expansion projectsLead and guide direct reportsRecruit, retain, and develop high quality talent.Lead Health, Safety and Environment compliance.Resolve problemsSupport cost and inventory reduction targetsPlan facilities repairs and upgradesThe annual base salary range for this position is $99,100 - $130,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. MUST HAVE
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experienceMinimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management and/or building maintenance including supervision of trades resourcesMinimum of 3 years of experience in emergency maintenanceWE VALUE
Previous experience in P3 operationsUnderstanding of legislative requirements (. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Building Code, NFPA Code, Ministry of Labor, Accessibility Act)Some experience in education institutionsAbility to motivate team members and drive resultsAbility to lead/drive change, and influence others
