• Deliver professional barbering and hairstyling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and styling tailored to each client's preferences
• Perform specialized services such as straight razor shaves, hair coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
• Engage with clients through effective communication about their desired looks and provide personalized recommendations for hair care products and retail items
• Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, managing bookings, and supporting store management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, threading, makeup application, and upselling retail products to foster team growth

• 2+ years of experience working in the beauty industry as a barber or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as Square for appointment booking and client management
• Skilled in various hair services including cutting, coloring (color theory), styling, hair extensions, and special treatments like eyelash extensions and nail care
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols and cosmetology licensing requirements in your region
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation and retail upselling to enhance customer experience
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
