The Copy Editor is responsible for reviewing and proofreading marketing projects, including international office projects in our fast-paced, highly demanding environment to ensure the team delivers error-free content and marketing materials in market. This position also works on components needed to market a tour when they are released by the external departments.
Primary Functions- Meticulous copy editing and proofreading of all types of marketing projects including checking for accuracy of content, both copy and graphics.
- Works across multiple forms of media included but not limited to print, web, video, social media, direct mail, webinars and PowerPoint presentations.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of campaign objectives and make edits/suggestions accordingly;
Ensures all messaging effectively supports business objectives. - Reviews marketing projects multiple times within the creative process including all the different versions required for most projects to make sure all edits and revisions get made properly.
- Responsible for the components needed to market a tour when it is released by the external departments. Initiates the process when tours get released and revised which includes creating the documents needed to create the tour pages and other components of the marketing bundle.
- Works with offsite graphic designer on getting tour maps created and uploaded to our system.
- Review printer proofs for brochures and other marketing pieces on printer proofing sites.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience desired that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Extremely detail oriented with very good skills in organizing, prioritizing, scheduling and follow-through.
- Thorough knowledge of the English language including grammar, spelling and punctuation rules.
- Can manage multiple and competing priorities with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, presenting a positive attitude.
- Fosters a cooperative work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Microsoft Office experience is a must.
Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $78,000.00
