Join our vibrant team as we are a newly opening restaurant! The Counter Service/Takeout Associate is where your energy and enthusiasm will shine in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment! In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, taking their orders, and ensuring they have an exceptional experience from the moment they walk in or call. Your positive attitude and strong communication skills will help create memorable guest interactions, making every visitor feel valued and appreciated.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively setting that celebrates teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and promptly, providing excellent customer service with a friendly and energetic approach
  • Take accurate orders via phone or in person, ensuring clear communication and attention to detail
  • Operate POS systems such as to process transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Prepare takeout orders with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area to promote a welcoming environment
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and support overall guest relations
  • Assistance with light prep duties for the kitchen
Experience
  • Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles is highly preferred, demonstrating strong guest interaction skills
  • Previous restaurant experience is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
  • Background in hospitality or hotel guest services enhances understanding of guest needs and expectations
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and adaptability
  • Knowledge of serving techniques and customer service principles to create positive guest experiences
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a professional demeanor
