About

The Role

The school‑based operations team supports the principal in non‑instructional duties so that they can focus on student achievement and professional development. The Student Services Manager is a key member of this team, overseeing day‑to‑day administration of non‑instructional student services and ensuring data integrity across multiple Achievement First systems. The Student Services Manager reports to the Director of School Operations and works closely with data system product managers at the network support office.

Responsibilities
  • Student Data and Information
  • Manage and record new student enrollment and discharges using the Achievement First Student Information System (SIS).
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of student records in SIS through regular audits.
  • Generate ad‑hoc reports for the school leadership team to monitor operational performance.
  • Provide technical support to teachers using the SIS for attendance and gradebook.
  • Oversee daily data entry for the student discipline system.
  • Manage operational logistics of student test administration, including distribution and collection of test materials.
  • Produce academic and school culture reports (e.g., report cards, awards, scholar dollars).
  • Student Services
  • Coordinate daily student food services, troubleshoot issues, and track meal consumption.
  • Manage daily student transportation services, address issues, and conduct required emergency drills.
  • Coordinate student health services, monitor health trends, and collaborate with nursing staff for student care.
  • Additional Characteristics
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on creating memorable and impactful experiences for students and families.
  • Commitment to delivering quality internal and external customer service.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4‑year institution is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of data management experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with educational technology and digital learning models/applications, demonstrating a strong track record of program development and integration.
  • Belief in the Achievement First mission and educational model.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in managing and manipulating databases and data sets.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Compensation & Benefits

Salaries range from $59,901 to $78,157 based on experience and location. Employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan with a match, and paid Family Leave as full‑time employees. The role is full‑time with an expected maximum of 45 hours per week.
