In this role, you support the Operations unit in delivering safe and efficient cable repair and replacement campaigns. You take responsibility for the engineering planning, coordination, and execution of cable transport and installation activities across offshore projects. Acting at the interface between engineering, contractors, and operations, you ensure compliance with technical standards and HSE requirements throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Support the Operations unit in cable repair and replacement campaigns
• Lead technical definition, evaluation, planning, reporting, and interface management for cable transport and installation activities
• Oversee load‑out, transportation, installation, and handover activities for inter‑array and export cables
• Ensure all method statements, risk assessments, lift plans, permits, and safety procedures are in place and approved by all relevant parties
• Draft, negotiate, and execute technical sections of installation and transport contracts
• Coordinate offshore installation engineering activities in compliance with industry standards and HSE regulations
• Interface with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor and report on installation progress, risks, and technical performance

• Engineering background with strong expertise in submarine cable systems and offshore cable installation
• In‑depth knowledge of cable design, fabrication, offshore cable decks, pull‑in operations, seabed preparation, and cable protection
• Experience with offshore cable laying, termination, and HV testing procedures
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the offshore wind industry
• Strong background in submarine cable engineering (Offshore Wind, Telecommunications, or Oil & Gas)
• Proven experience in offshore installation engineering and execution planning
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and offshore operational standards
• Structured, solution‑oriented working style with strong coordination and communication skills
