Position Summary
Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations at Walmart overseeing predictive and preventative maintenance of regional facilities. Lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient and sustainable building operations, a safe environment for associates and customers.
Role Detail- Require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
- Works directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility service needs.
- Works directly with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Reporting and analytics.
- Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
- Participate in training programs to ensure familiarity with regulatory requirements, conduct site inspections, monitor compliance, and quality standards.
- Obtain and secure all necessary permits and schedule inspections as mandated by applicable mechanical or building codes.
- General facilities services and overall building maintenance experience, 3‑5 years.
- Electrical, plumbing, or mechanical experience.
- Leadership skills – ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving skills – root cause and breakdown analysis experience.
- Customer service skills.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- PMP Certification.
- Lean Six Sigma.
- Maintain Mechanical Contractor license in state of employment.

Annual salary range: $99,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field and 3 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area, OR 5 years of experience in those areas.
- EPA 608 certification within 90 days of hire.
- Mechanical Contractor License or equivalent in the state of employment.
- Experience in building controls or a related area.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Experience as a maintenance supervisor in optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
- Required state and jurisdiction certifications and licenses for the state/jurisdiction of work; reciprocal license may apply.
- State mechanical contractor's license, supervisory experience, Type I and Type II EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
