Responsibilities- Assesses the patient's physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care. Documents appropriately the information obtained from the ongoing assessment and shares significant assessment data with the appropriate discipline.
- Adheres to The Westerly Hospital policies and procedures.
- Acts as a clinical resource and role model.
- Actively participates in training and educational activities for other staff members.
- Demonstrates a high level of respect, dignity, compassion, and professionalism for all customers by utilizing the four tenets of Patient Family and Centered Partnership.
- Recognizes and values the contributions of fellow employees and displays cooperation and teamwork.
- Reports to work on time, prepared to work, and follows hospital policies for notice of lateness/absenteeism and time off requests.

Qualifications EducationGraduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
ExperiencePrevious Geriatric Psychiatric experience preferred; previous hospital experience preferred.
LicensureCurrent Rhode Island license, BLS required. CPI training within 1 year of employment.
Special SkillsPrevious geriatric psychiatric experience preferred.
