Position Overview
The scope of the position encompasses meticulous order entry, proactive database management, and data analysis to optimize sales processes. Additionally, the Sales Support Associate supports new business growth by warming up prospects, assisting with lead generation, and managing the end‑to‑end setup of new accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage order entry for sales representatives, ensuring accuracy and completeness while stepping in to resolve any situational exceptions.
- Proactively engage with inbound inquiries to qualify interest and build initial rapport, effectively "warming" leads before transitioning them to the sales team.
- Support business growth by researching customer accounts for accuracy and identifying potential new dealer partner opportunities for the sales team.
- Maintain proactive and professional communication across all internal departments—including Sales, Marketing, Production, and Logistics—to ensure organizational alignment, facilitate seamless information flow, and support the swift resolution of dealer inquiries and order requests.
- Act as the primary steward of the dealer partner database, meticulously maintaining contact information, communication histories, and account statuses to ensure data integrity.
- Utilize database metrics and customer feedback to identify buying trends, solve operational problems, and suggest improvements to the overall sales process.
- Lead the end‑to‑end administrative setup for new accounts, ensuring all documentation and digital portal access are finalized for a seamless onboarding experience.
- Monitor the order lifecycle to mitigate delays and respond to shipping queries regarding site offloading needs, reconsignment, or special site requirements.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required to meet strategic business objectives.
Success in this role is defined by the seamless operation of the sales process through exceptional organizational support and proactive problem‑solving. A successful Sales Support Associate contributes to strong sales volume by maintaining a clean, actionable database and building lasting professional relationships through adaptability and effective cross‑departmental communication.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in a strategic sales support or dealer‑facing role.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with close attention to detail.
- Customer‑centric approach with a passion for delivering concierge‑level service.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and empathetic listening).
- Competent computer skills with a strong willingness to embrace new CRM tools and office automation.
- Proven capacity to use data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Frequently required to talk, hear, sit, twist, and reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
- The role primarily operates in a standard office setting but requires travel for business needs.
