Position: Residential Re-Entry Specialist (PT, 3rd Shift)

Residential Re‑entry Specialist / Youth Residential Mentor

This role requires strong communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm in high‑pressure situations. You will work closely with team members to develop and implement individualized plans for each resident, provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their stay, maintain accurate records of resident progress and behavior, and ensure residents receive the necessary support and resources to reintegrate successfully into their communities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and supervision to youth residents in a residential setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans for each resident, in collaboration with other team members.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents throughout their stay.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of resident progress and behavior.
  • Ensure that all residents receive the necessary support and resources to successfully reintegrate into their communities.
  • Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
  • Conduct common area, room and perimeter searches as assigned and document results.
  • Perform pat/pocket searches on all clients entering the facility and document results.
  • Complete house counts every hour from midnight to 8 am and every two hours from 8 am to 10 pm, and document results.
  • Transport clients as needed in a company vehicle.
  • Conduct monthly emergency drills.
  • Secure urines from same‑sex clients and complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation.
  • Supervise all client visitation and sign all visitors and contractors in and out of the facility.
  • Complete intake on all new arrivals prior to the end of your shift and facilitate client orientation as assigned.
  • Facilitate all client movement in and out of the facility.
  • Monitor clients’ self‑administration of medication.
Schedule

Friday–Monday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Starting Salary

$19.98 per hour plus a third‑shift differential of $0.50 per hour where applicable.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma plus four years of experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience in the social service or criminal justice field preferred; education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one‑for‑one basis.
  • Experience with youth populations preferred.
  • Ability to arrive 15 minutes before the shift and may also be required to stay later.
  • Valid driver’s license.
