Position Summary:

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI:
Sr. Software Development Engineer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms.

Duties include:

develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems;

monitor progress milestones and deliverables; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
Software development lifecycle (SDLC); CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or Dev Ops;
Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs;
Oracle; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence;
Writing application code and deploying to production;
Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; and Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases    Pay Range: $147680.00/year to $185400.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
