Overview
Hiring:
Experienced Freight Forwarder
An established logistics provider is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its team, delivering bespoke expedited road and air freight solutions across Europe and internationally.
Location:
Coventry, UK (fully onsite or hybrid)
Salary: £27,000–£37,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
Additional monthly performance bonus
Responsibilities- Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
- Quoting and arranging freight shipments
- Negotiating rates with transport suppliers
- Monitoring collections and deliveries
- Providing shipment updates to customers
- Resolving operational issues and identifying effective solutions
- Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding or a similar logistics role
- Strong knowledge of European road freight operations
- Understanding of UK and EU customs procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 30 days holiday including bank holidays
