Waking Night Care Worker

Rolling rota -3 shifts on, 3 off, followed by 2 shifts on, 2 off

As a Waking Night Care Worker
, you will provide consistent overnight support, ensuring each child’s safety, well‑being, and comfort in line with our policies and procedures. You’ll help maintain a secure, nurturing environment while responding to individual needs and promoting a sense of stability throughout the night.

• Provide awake‑night supervision, ensuring the home remains safe and calm
• Work with the team to offer emotional and practical support
• Complete regular safety and security checks and ensure all children/young people are accounted for
• Support bedtime routines and help children/young people settle for the night
• Assist children/young people in the morning with waking and getting ready
• Create a supportive environment where every child/young person feels valued and listened to

• Experience working with children and young people with complex and mental health needs
