Electrician

Take on a long-term subcontract Electrician role carrying out testing and associated works across social housing properties in the Midlands, covering areas such as Warwickshire, Coventry, Leicester and Stratford‑upon‑Avon.

This is a field‑based role working in occupied domestic properties, completing EICRs, remedials and associated electrical works across a consistent social housing contract.

• Completing EICRs in occupied social housing properties
• Carrying out remedial works following inspections
• Completing consumer unit and board changes
• Undertaking partial rewires and occasional full rewires where required
• Installing and altering smoke alarm systems, including radio‑linked detectors
• Travelling across an allocated regional patch
• Recording completed works accurately

• 18th Edition test experience
• C&G 2391 or equivalent testing experience
• ECS Gold Card preferred
• Experience in domestic or social housing work
• Own vehicle, testing equipment and tools
• Ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence

• Competitive CIS rates depending on experience, tickets and output
• Flexible CIS pay, rates negotiated around experience and qualifications
• Strong testers can expect rates around £200 per day (slightly lower rates considered depending on experience)

This role is based across the Midlands, covering Warwickshire, Coventry, Leicester, Stratford‑upon‑Avon and surrounding areas. You will need to be comfortable travelling between properties and working independently with your own vehicle, tools and testing equipment.
