We are looking for a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our Coventry branch which is part of the Green 4 Motor Company. With over 25 years of dealer experience, we want to continue to build on our reputation of top 25 dealers in the country for providing first class service to customers and business partners alike. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced technician who possesses that same ethos.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors
• Documenting and recording repair work in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines
• Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing and repairs are carried out thoroughly, to the highest quality following Brand guidelines
• Ensuring health and safety is always adhered to in line with company policy
• Warranty material is kept labelled and returned to the warranty department
• Ensuring vehicles comply with industry safety standards when returned to the customer and any faults have been reported and noted on the job cards
• Providing support for line managers

About You

• You will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
• An ability to work to a high standard, possessing a high attention to detail
• Working independently or as a team, you will have the ability to engage with other members of the dealership to encourage a smooth and efficient service for our customers
• Motor trade experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Able to work between 8.30am – 5pm, plus, Saturday mornings on rota.
• Must have a Level 3 Motor Vehicle NVQ/City and Guilds Qualification.
• Driving licence essential
